Playground Borders

The sandbox was always my favorite toy when I was a kid. I remember spending hours with my brothers and sisters building castles and digging holes. Well now that I am a parent I want to provide that same fun experience for my children. When choosing a location you will want to find a spot that offers at least six feet of clearance around the perimeter of the sandbox. If you locate it close to the house, or near a swing set or other toys then it can make monitoring backyard activity easier. Level ground will work best and also choose a location that will receive a good bit of sunlight so that the sand can dry after a rain.

After looking into several different options, I finally settled on the Frame It All system. Their system of interlocking parts makes installation a breeze. The composite timbers they use for their playground borders are a blend of wood fiber and UV-protected polypropylene so you can be sure that they won’t splinter, warp or rot.

After seeing how well the system works I will also use it for our landscape edging. Knowing that I am improving the appearance of my home is reward enough, but knowing that it will last for years to come makes me feel even better.
